The legendary England centre-back has claimed the Al Nassr player ‘used to cry and that’ when playing table tennis.
Rio Ferdinand has told one of the many stories he shared with Cristiano Ronaldo. Both played at Manchester United for six years, between 2003 and 2009, under manager Alex Ferguson.

The famous England defender admitted in an interview with Australian radio show ‘Kyle and Jackie 0’ that the Portuguese ‘almost cried’ when playing table tennis: ‘Quinton Fortune and I used to really bored. He was much younger than us then, but I was trying to develop the resilience he has today.
Ronaldo on the verge of tears
Ferdinand explained the whole story with Ronaldo: “We used to play every other day before training as part of the warm-up, and I beat him every time. He beat me once or twice, but Quinton and I were like Federer and Nadal. If it had been on TV, it would have broken records. He was almost crying and all that, he was already very competitive.
