The summer has been hectic to say the least for the leaders of the PSG. Blame it on a summer transfer window during which the vice-champions of France managed to attract Achraf Hakimi, Georginio Wijnaldum, Sergio Ramos, Gianluigi Donnarumma, Nuno Mendes or Lionel Messi and prevent the departure of Kylian Mbappé. And the Real Madrid was not the only European cador to launch a major offensive against the capital club.

According to RMC Sport, Chelsea, eager to strengthen its central defense, wanted to recruit Marks, Thomas Tuchel having in mind to reform the duo Marquinhos-Thiago Silva with the Blues. And the European champions did not intend to look at the expense to achieve it. The London club was indeed ready to offer up to 100 million euros to convince the Parisian leaders.
But Chelsea ultimately did not have the opportunity to submit a formal bid. Neither PSG nor Marquinhos have indeed followed up on the approaches of the London club. At the club since 2013, the Brazilian has become one of the first symbols of the Red and Blue, of which he became captain after the departure of Thiago Silva and with whom he is linked until June 2024.
