Bayern Munich have set their sights on one of the best prospects in the German league. To secure its services, it will be necessary to break the piggy bank.
Adept at recruiting that wants to be as precise as it is economically measured, the Bayern Munich however has views on Florian Wirtz. The 18-year-old attacking midfielder is enjoying a meteoric rise with the Bayer Leverkusen since last season and is positioned among the best players of his generation.
Able to evolve as a creator as on the left wing, the German international (3 starts) has already scored 3 goals and delivered 4 assists in the space of 4 games at the start of the season. No wonder the Rekordmeister wants to enlist the prodigy in his workforce. Just like many Premier League clubs, as Fabrizio Romano points out.
Florian Wirtz [2003], one for the future. Incredible talent and many clubs from Premier League plus Bayern are looking at him β but he has currently no releause clause in his contract, expiring in June 2026. π«π©πͺ #Wirtz

Overpriced even for Bayern
Centerpiece in the workforce of his trainer Gerardo Seoane, the German right-hander is bound by a contract running until 2026. If the Munich people want to afford the talents of Wirtz at this point, they will have to pay a high price.
According to German media Sport1, Leverkusen does not intend to let him go before 2023 and for a minimum of 100 million euros. The tone is set, but not sure that the Munich side of the leaders agree to conclude such a contract.
