Business is not getting better for Juventus, now relegated after their draw conceded against AC Milan (1-1) on Sunday.
The improvement will have been short-lived. If the Champions League had allowed the Juventus to find a smile again, the Old Lady quickly fell back into her faults. Four days after their great victory on the lawn of Malmö (0-3), the Turinese, opposed to theAC Milan at Juventus Stadium, have indeed registered a new disillusionment in Serie A with a draw (1-1) which clearly does not do their business.
Massimiliano Allegri’s men got off to a perfect start, Alvaro Morata opening the scoring from the 4e minute, but unable to make the break, Juve was finally surprised at the start of the last quarter of an hour by Ante Rebic, forcing the Bianconeri to settle for a meager point. Enough to double its capital, but with two matches and two defeats after four days, the Piedmontese club, now relegated, is suffering as rarely.
These two meager points at the end of the 4e day constitute a historic performance. We must indeed go back to the 1960-1961 season to find traces of such a bad start for Juventus Turin. And it is also only the fourth time in its history that the Turinese are without the slightest victory after the first four days. A scenario which also occurred in 1955 and 1942 before 1960. This is to say the calamitous situation in which the Piedmontese find themselves.
