Game news Batman the Audio Adventures: HBO podcast is accessible, with a freebie
Announced several months ago, the Batman: The Audio Adventures podcast wisely waited for Batman Day on September 18 to appear on the side of HBO Max. An original experience in several episodes, with a small gift.
The project Batman: The Audio Adventures is special. It’s not just about telling new stories, it’s about let humor personalities create quirky scenarios without falling into the bad parody. The writing of the episodes was therefore entrusted to Dennis McNicholas, Bobby Moynihan, Heidi Garnder et Paul Scheer, which were inspired by the Silver Age. Produced by Warner’s Blue Ribbon division, the podcast is accessible on HBO Max through its first three episodes, the other seven will follow shortly. However, if you understand English it is possible listen to the first episode for free from the HBO Max YouTube channel. Also note that the podcast will be accompanied by a comics in one issue, out October 12.
In this first episode, and according to the synopsis which is given, Batman to be GCPD Consultant, Catwoman Steals Criminal King Scimitar, Joker Has New Recruit. The duo also face an “increasingly disturbed Double-Face.” Finally, let us note that the vocal cast is particularly solid, with in particular Rosario Dawson, Alan Tudyk, John Leguizamo, Chris Parnell, Melissa Villaseñor, Seth Meyers, Brent Spiner, Ike Barinholtz, Bobby Moynihan, Kenan Thompson, Jason Sudeikis, Heidi Gardner, Brooke Shields, Paul Scheer, Tim Meadows, Fred Armisen, Ray Wise, Ben Rodgers, Katie Rich, Pete Schultz, Paula Pell, Toby Huss, and McNicholas.
