Manchester United snatched the 3 points from West Ham (1-2), with a new goal from Cristiano Ronaldo, who deserved to get two penalties at the end of the match.
After being beaten in the 95th minute by Young Boys (2-1), Tuesday in the Champions League, Manchester United once again offered a completely insane end to the meeting during his trip to West Ham on Sunday afternoon. Cristiano Ronaldo scored his 4th goal in 3 matches with the Red Devils and they won in extremis (1-2).
The Hammers first opened the scoring with Saïd Benrahma, whose long shot was deflected by Raphaël Varane (30th). “CR7”, still installed in tip, then came into play and equalized in two stages on a cross from Bruno Fernandes (35th). MU then dominated without being very inspired, as usual under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, in the absence of a good organization against a regrouped block.
Lingard and De Gea as heroes!
The entries of Jesse Lingard and Jadon Sancho for the last 20 minutes, instead of Paul pogba and Mason Greenwood (73rd), gave a second wind and it is Lingard, after having literally offered the victory to Bern in the week, who gave the advantage to his team of a sublime technical sequence against his team of last season (89th). It was therefore without counting an end of meeting even crazier.
Ronaldo, broke twice in the area (77th and 92nd), never obtained a penalty despite the viewing of the images by the video referees. The latter ended up sanctioning a hand of Luke Shaw in its surface! David Moyes then threw veteran Mark Noble for the penalty but David De Gea intervened (95th)! Mancunians could shout for joy around their number 7.
