Game news THQ Nordic: The 10-year showcase was just a preview of what the publisher is preparing
Last night, THQ Nordic hosted a conference, both celebrating the brand’s 10th anniversary and announcing new titles. But obviously, what was shown was only the tip of the iceberg.
During the presentation, THQ Nordic announced Outcast 2: A New Beginning, SpongeBob SquarePants: The Cosmic Shake, ELEX II, the remake of Destroy All Humans! 2 – Reprobed and MX vs ATV Legends, while highlighting Jagged Alliance 3, Expeditions: Rome or even SuperPower 3. These announcements disappointed part of the public, who expected the presentation of TimeSplitter or the return of Red Faction and Darksiders. However, once the presentation was over, THQ Nordic revealed that there was a total of 42 titles in development, including 28 that have not yet been announced, all without taking into account Handy Games productions.
A significant number of titles, which corresponds to the very large portfolio available to the publisher since his resurrection. Obviously, we should not expect a sudden presentation of all these titles, which are certainly at very different levels of advancement from each other.
