PSG, a surprise extension soon to be recorded?

Argentina midfielder Leandro Paredes is said to be negotiating with Paris Saint-Germain over a contract extension.

While his name has often been linked to a departure during the last transfer market, the former de l’AS Roma could ultimately stay much longer than expected in France. According to information from the Italian media Transfer market, Leonardo, the sporting director of PSG, reportedly began negotiations with the Argentinian in the last few days.

In the event of a final agreement between the two parties, Leandro Paredes will be the third Parisian to initial a surprise contract extension in recent months. Not necessarily in the plans of the technical staff, the experienced midfielder was very close to the exit this summer. As was the case with Layvin Kurzawa and Julian Draxler, the Argentina international could sign a new lease as everything seemed to indicate that his Parisian adventure was drawing to a close.
