Winner Saturday of Grenoble (4-1), the TFC is sure to remain leader of Ligue 2 at the end of the 8th day.
After flirting with the comeback, narrowly failing in the jump-off last season, the TFC gives itself the means to still play the leading roles in 2021-2022 to find the elite. Philippe Montanier’s men demonstrated their ambitions this Saturday at home against Grenoble.
The Toulouse, still undefeated, dominated the Isérois, 4-1, thanks to goals from Healey (22e), Ngoumou (71e) and a double from Onaiwu (34e, 47e). The Grenoblois, trained by Maurizio Jacobacci, reduced the score by Anani (79e).
In the standings, “Les Pitchounes” are sure to stay ahead at the end of this Saturday which will see the other teams in action (kick-off at 7 pm).
