Forced into a draw (2-2) in Rennes, the Spurs seem cursed in France …

Tottenham escaped the worst of Rennes. Despite a quick opening of the scoring, the Spurs found themselves led at the start of the last quarter of an hour. The draw (2-2) brought back from Brittany is therefore a lesser evil for the London club.

This sharing of points nevertheless confirms the difficulties of Tottenham when it comes to playing in France where Spurs have never won. In six trips to France, the Londoners have only four draws and two defeats.
