Announced in the sights of Olympique de Marseille this summer, Andy Delort spoke of his relationship with Marseille training.
Having decided to opt for l’OGC Nice during the last days of the transfer market, the Algerian international had long been associated with an arrival on the banks of the Canebière. Some of his old statements regarding his love for the Olympique de Marseille have not been forgotten by the Nice fans. In order to put an end to all speculation, Andy Delort explained himself in a statement to Nice morning.
« I’m going to clear things up and correct some things. I said that because my father was an Olympique de Marseille fan when I was little, he confided. He followed this club in the 90s and often brought me with him to the stadium. Today, it has nothing to do with it, I’m a professional player, I play in Ligue 1 against them. To end this debate, I am very proud to wear the Gym jersey, I’m here, that says it all. »
