Shunned by his coach since the start of the season, Tanguy Ndombele is the holder for the trip from Tottenham to Rennes in the Europa League Conference.
While he did not fit into his coach’s plans at the start of the season, which fueled transfer rumors about him, Tanguy Ndombele will kick off his season with Tottenham this Thursday evening in the Europa League Conference.
The midfielder holds for Spurs’ trip to Rennes, for what is arguably the most beautiful poster of this first day of competition. Ndombele will be paired with Oliver Skipp in midfield, behind the offensive quartet. Hugo Lloris, meanwhile, gives way to Italian Pierluigi Gollini, who arrived from Atalanta this summer.
Rennes : Salin – Traoré, Badé, Aguerd, Truffert – Bourigeaud, Santamaria, Tait – Laborde, Guirassy, Sulemana.
Tottenham: Gollini – Doherty, Tanganga, Rodon, Davies – Ndombele, Skipp – Lucas Moura, Bergwijn, Bryan Gil – Kane.
