Game news Gran Turismo 7: The condition of access to single player mode will make people cringe
After years of waiting for a new canonical episode, Gran Turismo players are set. To get your hands on Gran Turismo 7, you will have to wait until March 4, 2022 on PS4 and PS5. But a small mention concerning the solo, may displease many people.
The site PushSquare went through the PlayStation Blog post featuring the new Gran Turismo 7 trailer, and found a mention there that will be painful for players without a stable internet connection to read. Indeed, it is very discreetly specified in the article that one Internet connection will be required to play the game and the online modes, but also for the Campaign GT single player mode, photo mode, GT Café, or even the customization of liveries.
We know that veterans of the Gran Turismo franchise were keen to see the GT Campaign mode return to the game * (…)
(…) * An internet connection is required for these features.
A decision that Sony does not yet explain, but which could be linked to a system in which the transition from solo to multi is done smoothly and without stopping the game. In any case, there is no doubt that some of the players will be saddened to learn that even the single player mode requires an Internet connection.
