Game news Dying Light 2 Stay Human postponed and expected for next year
Expected until now for December 07, Dying Light 2: Stay Human will not be released this year. In a post on Twitter, the developers of Techland explain delaying the release of the game as well as the reasons for this postponement.
We will have to wait two more months to get our hands on Dying Light 2: Stay Human. Dated last May (three years after its announcement), the sequel to the zombie game was to be released on December 07 on PC and consoles but was postponed today. On Twitter, the developers of Techland explain taking two more months to polish and optimize the title:
The team is making steady progress with production and the game is getting closer to the finish line. It is complete and we are currently in the playtest phase. Dying Light 2: Stay Human is by far the most ambitious project we’ve done to date. Unfortunately, we realized that we needed more time to polish and optimize the title. This is why we have decided to move the release date to 04 February 2022.
In the letter, Pawel Marchewka (CEO of Techland) explains that he is sorry to make the players wait longer. Nevertheless, he promises that new previews of the title will be released in October as the game will be distributed to the press and content creators.
Dying Light 2: Stay Human is therefore expected on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series on February 04, 2022.
