Game news Final Fantasy XVI sera absent du Tokyo Game Show
Square Enix has released the list of games that the Japanese publisher will showcase at the Tokyo Game Show Online 2021. Unfortunately for fans, Final Fantasy XVI is not one of them.
Naoki Yoshida – aka Yoshi-P – producer and director at Square Enix gave us news of Final Fantasy XVI last July, claiming that the scenario was closed, that the recording of the English voices was close to its end, and wanting to present the combat system during its next presentation. However, he had let it be understood that the game would not be at TGS. We hoped to see him at the PlayStation Showcase yesterday. We now know: he was not there, and it’s official, he won’t be at TGS. The Tokyo Game Show Online 2021 will therefore present the following games:
- Collection of SaGa: Final Fantasy Legend
- Deep Insanity: Asylum
- Dragon Quest X Offline
- Dragon Quest X Online
- Final Fantasy: Brave Exvius
- Final Fantasy VII: The First Soldier
- Final Fantasy XIV
- Imperial SaGa Eclipse
- Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy
- Project Triangle Strategy
- Romancing SaGa Re;Universe
- Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin
- War of the Visions: Final Fantasy Brave Exvius
In fifty minute presentation titled Square Enix Presents TGS2021 which will be held on Youtube the October 1 from noon, the publisher will endeavor to come back to all these titles and – hopefully – some surprises. Let us add that Forspoken will be presented in more detail from 3 p.m. on October 1, tout comme Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy et Stanger of the Paradise : Final Fantasy Origin le October 2 from 2 p.m.. the October 3 will be the day of the segment dedicated to Final Fantasy XIV.
